Description
Product Description: Wilbers Fork Spring Pair with Lowering
The Wilbers fork spring pair with lowering combines safety and optimal handling. Progressive springs and high-quality materials ensure the best riding comfort. Experience a new dimension of riding behavior.
- Progressive fork springs offer a confident response, whether on slight bumps or during hard braking maneuvers. Experience firm riding behavior and excellent bottoming resistance.
- Reduced seat height through lowering at the fork provides optimal handling and improved geometry when you combine a rear lowering.
- Finest response behavior due to low breakaway torque guarantees precise riding behavior with excellent traction.
- High-quality material ensures durability and consistent performance over the entire lifespan of your motorcycle.
- Complementary options such as the suitable Wilbers fork oil (Order number 55040300000 to 55040300050) further optimize the damper tuning.
- Includes ABE for Germany. The ABE booklet must be carried, and an entry in the vehicle papers is not mandatory.
Detailed Product Description:
Wilbers Fork Spring Set with Lowering
Safety through optimal suspension tuning!
In combination with a rear lowering, you achieve nearly the same suspension geometry and thus ensure better handling than if only a rear lowering is installed and the steering head angle leans towards a chopper with a long fork.
Details:
- the seat height is further reduced by lowering at the fork
- progressive fork springs make bottoming out and harsh response a thing of the past
- due to their construction, they absorb slight bumps as confidently as hard hits or brutal braking maneuvers
- offer the finest response behavior through low breakaway torque and firm precise riding behavior for best traction properties and bottoming resistance
- linear springs are identifiable by the number (spring rate N/mm) in the article designation (e.g., 9.0, 9.5, 10.0) and enable consistent function over the entire spring travel, providing extremely transparent feedback
- are usually (when necessary) delivered with reduction sleeves for lowering
- the measure of lowering can be found in the article text or in the selection as mm indication (e.g., 25 mm)
- whether progressive or linear, Wilbers fork springs are made from the highest quality materials and do not age over the lifespan of the motorcycle
- production release only occurs when the experienced testers are as satisfied as the TÜV inspectors
- with lowerings, it is naturally always important to note that the lean angle freedom is restricted, the lower the more
Options:
- For the correct damper tuning to the fork springs, the appropriate Wilbers fork oil, which must be ordered additionally, should always be used (Order number 55040300000 to 55040300050)! - The viscosity may differ from the originally used one - the indication of which viscosity you specifically need for your model and with which air chamber the fork must be filled can be found in the Bike-DB or directly on the article packaging or in the instructions.
- With the oil level gauge with syringe, the air chamber can be easily and precisely adjusted (Order number 60170600450).
Approval (in Germany):
With ABE.
The supplied ABE booklet must be carried during the ride.
An entry in the vehicle papers is possible for convenience reasons, but not necessary.
For our Swiss customers:
Please note that in Switzerland the road legislation does not correspond to the EU. A clarification for approval for the Swiss motorcycle vehicle inspection must be made in the store/online shop before ordering. Technical articles that are rejected for entry cannot be returned. For issuing a necessary Swiss certification, costs may incur if the goods were not purchased in Switzerland.
Price per pair
(For a few models, only one spring is installed in the fork in one leg - then "piece" is also found in the selection or in the article designation, and the price applies per piece)
