Öhlins Fork Springs Road & Track Linear

Replacing the fork springs is a cost-effective and efficient way to improve the front fork.
Together with the specially developed fork oils from Öhlins, the response and performance of the original fork can be significantly enhanced.

• for consistent spring behavior throughout the entire travel
• for some models, there are different spring rates to choose from, allowing you to select the appropriate spring rates based on rider weight and personal preferences or riding style - the rule of thumb is: the higher the spring rate (N/mm), the firmer the suspension
• best material selection and precise manufacturing guarantee a maximum deviation of 1.5% in the spring rate
• NOTE: For the correct damper setup, the appropriate, additional Öhlins fork oil must always be used (the viscosity may differ from the originally used one!!) - the indication of which viscosity you need for your model can be found in the Bike-DB or directly on the article packaging or in the manual

The diameter and weight are very model-specific.

Approval (in Germany):
For almost all models with ABE.
The supplied ABE booklet must be carried with you when driving.
Entry in the vehicle documents is possible for convenience reasons, but not necessary.

Only if your model in the Bike-DB has the note "with parts certificate", the following is necessary for approval (if this note is not present, the fork springs have an ABE):
With TÜV parts certificate.
Here, an inspector (TÜV, Dekra, etc.) must confirm the correct installation before operation on public roads.
This inspection confirmation must then, similar to an ABE, be carried with you while driving.
At the next opportunity (i.e., the next visit to the road traffic office for registration/deregistration/reregistration), this should then be included in the registration papers.
