Suzuki GSF 1250 and 1250 S from 2007 onwards
In 2007, Suzuki brought out the GSF 1250 Bandit as the heir to the 1200 Bandit, which had enjoyed many years of success on the market. The water-cooled 4-cylinder engine with 2 overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder looks very similar to its predecessor, but is in fact completely new. The injection system and the injection and ignition electronics in particular were overhauled to comply with the increasingly strict emissions regulations. The 98 h.p. 1250 Bandit is impressive with or without fairing, with or without ABS, and offers great value for money. The most popular model is the GSF 1250 S with ABS. The large Bandit is a typical everyday machine and touring bike that, thanks to the reliability offered by modern Japanese bikes, can be a faithful servant to its owner over many years if it’s well cared for and maintained properly. But despite optimum maintenance and care, there can be times on the streets of this world when a problem crops up and there is no Suzuki workshop nearby, and for that this book was written.
