Product Questions

In 2009, Suzuki brought out its SFV 650 Gladius as the successor to its SV 650, which had been constructed from 1999 to 2008 and had enjoyed great popularity on the market. The water-cooled V2 engine of the Gladius has 2 overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder, it is equipped with petrol injection and regulated catalytic converter. The injection and ignition electronics are set up to comply with the increasingly strict emissions regulations. The 72 h.p. or 34 h.p. Gladius is available with or without ABS and is extremely good value for money. Thanks to the reliability offered by modern Japanese bikes, the SFV 650 Gladius is a sporty motorbike that is ideal for everyday use and is also suitable for touring. If looked after carefully, the Gladius can offer years of faithful service. But despite optimum maintenance and care, there can be times on the streets of this world when a problem crops up and there is no Suzuki workshop nearby, and for that this book was written.

This handbook includes the following chapters:

– workshop advice: the right tools for use in the hobby or professional workshop
