  • Significant Pressure Point Improvement: Compared to older original lines, the pressure point improves significantly. This reduces the required hand force and noticeably enhances the braking effect.
  • Lifetime Durability: Once installed, the steel braided lines do not need to be replaced for durability reasons due to their robust structure.
  • Premium Aluminum Fittings: The fittings of the Spiegler steel braided line kit are made of lightweight aluminum with anodized coating, allowing for easy and damage-free installation.
  • Weight Reduction: With up to 60% less weight compared to conventional lines, the kit supports easier handling and optimal driving comfort.
  • Versatile Adaptation: The kit includes options for various models and offers the possibility to reuse original banjo bolts or to include suitable bolts.

Detailed Product Description:

Spiegler Steel Braided Line Kit Brake Front+Rear+Clutch

Very pressure-stable brake and clutch lines for best controllability and nearly unlimited durability.

Details:

  • Original rubber lines become softer over time and no longer reliably transmit the force to operate the brake to the brake calipers - most motorcycle manufacturers therefore recommend replacing them every 5 years
  • Especially if the original lines are already somewhat older, a very noticeable improvement in the pressure point and thus in controllability and effectiveness will be achieved after installing the steel braided version, requiring less hand force
  • The brake fluid also lasts much longer when the "porous" rubber lines no longer allow so much fluid from the air (water) to pass through
  • The steel braided lines offer unlimited lifespan and do not need to be renewed for durability reasons after one-time installation
  • Fittings made of lightweight aluminum with first-class anodized quality for installation without nicks in the coating
  • Stainless steel crimping of the fittings to the line
  • Inner line made of PTFE
  • Sheathing made of V2A stainless steel in spring steel quality
  • With silver fittings and tinted protective sheathing (carbon look) or with black fittings and black sheathing
  • Up to 60% weight savings compared to original lines
  • Original banjo bolts can be reused for installation - if absolutely necessary, suitable double/banjo bolts are included

Approval (in Germany):
Depending on the model and version with ABE (almost always) or TÜV parts certificate (new or rarer models or non-original configurations).
If with ABE:
The supplied ABE booklet must be carried during the ride.
Registration in the vehicle papers is possible for convenience but not necessary.
If with TÜV parts certificate:
A tester (TÜV, Dekra, etc.) must confirm the correct installation before operation in public road traffic.
This test confirmation must then, similar to an ABE, be carried during the ride.
At the next opportunity (i.e., next visit to the road traffic office for registration/deregistration/reregistration), it should then be entered into the registration papers.
