Universal Saddlebag Attachment - Fits Almost All Motorcycles:

• The Velcro cross-connections are adjusted to the width of the rear and simply placed over or under the pillion seat (under the seat only if there are no components in the way)
• By adjusting the width of the cross connections, the height of the bag to the motorcycle can also be influenced
• After positioning the bag as desired, secure it with straps
• With the supplied click straps, a central securing is possible - only useful when used with bag holders or if there is a suitable point at the rear
• We recommend the 2-point attachment for which the set of 4 double-D straps is additionally required (Order No. 5699341200000045)
• Initially lay the front straps (to frame tubes, footrest holders, etc.) so that neither your freedom of movement is restricted nor any non-load-bearing parts (e.g., rear fairing) are exposed to excessive stress
• Then tighten just enough so that the bags hold their position and cannot slide backward significantly
• Now individually find load-bearing attachment points for the rear securing straps on each motorcycle
• These are usually the license plate holder, grab handles, frame tubes, turn signal mounts (if stable enough), etc.
• The securing straps can be attached independently on the right and left - if this is not possible, they can also be connected to create a continuous strap from right to left - usually laid between the license plate and its holder or the splash guard 
• Optional holders (0024021188000000) can also be screwed to the license plate mounting towards the rear wheel (please do not place them on the visible side of the license plate as it would otherwise be covered) - this provides two excellent securing points
• Also, make sure that nothing is pinched or placed under too much tension
• Then tighten the two securing straps just enough so that the bags are not yet completely tight
• Check and, if necessary, correct the desired position of the bags again
• Only then tighten all 4 straps evenly so that the bags sit securely and do not shift even when loaded
• Secure the strap ends against fluttering
• With the stability achieved, the bags can also be used on models for which there are no semi-rigid saddlebag holders
• We recommend using paint protection film at the contact surfaces of the bags to the rear (Order No. 6089511094001590 or 5705021094001790)
• Always initially increase speed cautiously on the first rides or with new loads

Attachment to the Shad Saddlebag Holders Semi Rigid:

• The bags are slid over the tubes of the saddlebag holders from the rear top with precisely fitting insertion pockets
• The bags are then secured to the front and rear protruding tubes with Velcro straps
• Then lay the cross connections under the seat so that no components are pinched or functions are hindered
• If this is not possible, the cross connection is laid over the seat
• The connecting straps should be fastened as tightly as possible to each other to give the bags additional stability
• Additionally, the clickable securing straps should be used accordingly for further securing to the vehicle (see also below)
