ATTENTION:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that originally do not use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

• The toggle switch module turns off the position light while the indicator is activated to enhance its clear visibility (Order number 50220000650)
• With the adjustable resistor, use is possible on almost all models with CAN-BUS without any problems (Order number 50220000640)
• If the legal distances cannot be maintained or the license plate is simply in the way, additional suitable extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870 or 50170003561)
• For easier connection without modifications to the cables of the original indicators, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following  as well as 50170502000 and following)
• If the installation is to be done in place of the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models there are suitable adapter plates that make installation possible without problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)

Approval:
With E-marking for the front.
The indicators and position lights have an E-marking and require no further papers.
They can therefore be installed without any issues, in accordance with installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from around mid/late 90s) the following apply:
Minimum distance between indicator lens to indicator lens at the front: 240 mm
Minimum distance between indicator lens to headlight lens: 75 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility up and down: 15 degrees
Permissible flash frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles individually approved, or non-EU countries, different dimensions may apply.
