WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that originally do not use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash frequency to an acceptable level (see also below).
Options:
- if the legal distances cannot be maintained or if the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870, or 50170400871)
- for easier connection without modifications to the cables of the original indicators, there are suitable adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
- if mounting is to be done in place of the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are suitable adapter plates that allow for easy mounting (Order No. 50170100000 and following)

The indicators have an E-mark and do not require further documentation.
They can be installed without any issues, in accordance with installation regulations.
For motorcycles with E-approval (from about the mid/late 90s):
Minimum distance between indicator glass to indicator glass front/rear: 240/180 mm
Minimum distance between indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Maximum distance of rear indicator to the outermost end of the rear: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upward and downward: 15 degrees
Permissible flash frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles approved individually, or in non-EU countries, different measurements may apply.

Überzeugen mich nicht
Ich habe mir diese Blinker gekauft, da sie zum einen schön klein sind, schwarz getönt und mir die Form sehr gefällt. Preislich sind sie eher im unteren Segment. Aber! Ein erster Test zeigte mir, dass sie viel zu dunkel sind. Da hätte ich Angst übersehen zu werden. Meine derzeitigen

Blinker gekauft, angebaut und festgestellt das sie so leuchten sollen wie sie sollen. Wem der Blinker zu dunkel ist, sollte keinen

Déçu.
Un des quatre clignotants commandé est défectueux et fait sauter le fusible à chaque activation. Il faut donc en commander un nouveaux et, évidemment, le clignotant est maintenant passé de 17.90.- à 27.90.- . SUPER.

Inutilisables
Clairement pas assez lumineux. De nuit, on distingue à peine le clignotement. En utilisant les résistances 21W, le clignotement est quand même beaucoup trop rapide sur une Suzuki GSR 750. Les câbles sont bien longs.
