Universal Attachment (suitable for almost all motorcycles):
- The Velcro cross connections are adjusted to the width of the rear and simply placed over or under the passenger seat (under the seat only if no components are in the way)
- By adjusting the width of the cross connection, the height of the bag to the motorcycle can also be influenced
- Always keep at least 5 cm distance from the exhaust and its exhaust stream - this applies to the bag as well as to the attachment straps
- After positioning the bag as desired, they are tightened
- The tension strap is hung in the designated D-rings on the back of the bags at the front and rear
- First, lay the front straps (to frame tubes, footrest holders, etc.) so that neither your freedom of movement is restricted nor any non-load-bearing parts (e.g., rear fairing) are exposed to excessive stress
- Then tighten them just enough to hold the bags in position and prevent them from slipping backward
- Now individually find load-bearing attachment points for the rear attachment straps on each motorcycle
- These are usually the license plate holder, grab handles, frame tubes, turn signal mounts (if they are stable enough), etc.
- The attachment straps can be attached independently on the right and left - if this is not possible, you can also connect them to create a continuous strap from right to left - usually laid between the license plate and its holder or the splash guard
- The optional holders can also be screwed to the license plate attachment towards the rear wheel (Order No. 70320000000) (please do not place on the visible side of the license plate as it would otherwise be covered) - this provides two very suitable tie-down points
- Also, make sure that nothing is pinched or under too much tension
- Then tighten the two attachment straps just enough so that the bags are not completely tight
- Check the desired position of the bags again and adjust if necessary
- Only then tighten all 4 straps evenly so that the bags sit stably and do not slip even when loaded
- Due to the achieved stability, no additional saddlebag holder is necessary for most models - but these can provide even more stability
- Please secure the strap ends against flapping
- Always gradually increase speed cautiously on the first rides or with new loads
