Additionally, WGB replaces a tool free of charge in the event of a manufacturing or material defect for a period of 40 years (calculated from the purchase date of the tool) with a defect-free tool.
In the event of a warranty claim, the affected tool must be sent to the WGB company address along with the original purchase receipt.
The purchase receipt must include the purchase date and product description.
Whether a manufacturing or material defect exists is determined by an independent testing institute.
This test result is binding.
Replaced tools become our property (WGB).
The warranty covers all defects of the product during the warranty period that are due to manufacturing or material defects at the time of purchase.
The warranty is limited to replacement and does not include any other obligations.
The warranty does not apply in the following cases: improper or non-designated use of the tool, alteration or modification of the tool, non-compliance with operating instructions, as well as normal wear and tear and the usual wear and tear of the tool.
The warranty ends as soon as the tool becomes unusable for reasons not attributable to a material or manufacturing defect.
The replacement delivery under this warranty is free of charge.
It does not represent an extension or a restart of the warranty period.
The warranty applies to products purchased within the European Union.
Claims for defects that the buyer has against the seller through the purchase contract, as well as legal rights, are not restricted by this warranty.
