Tip:
Always break in clutch plates carefully to avoid glazing.
For wet clutches, it is recommended to soak the clutch plates in engine oil for some time before installation so that the linings can fully absorb the oil - this of course does not apply to friction discs for models with dry clutches!!
When replacing worn friction discs, it is also recommended to replace the set springs and the usually worn steel discs.
