Installation Instructions:
Shorten the fuel hose by 5 cm at a suitable point, insert the quick coupling in between, and secure the hoses with clamps.
To ensure you get everything from a single source, the set includes the matching hose clamps.
The couplings and plugs are resistant to gasoline, diesel, and even E10, ensuring a long lifespan.
WARNING:
If these quick-release couplings are used with old hard fuel hoses, leaks may occur at the connections despite the hose clamps.
Brake hoses can harden due to age or be quite hard from the outset (e.g., clear lines).
We therefore always recommend using new fabric-covered rubber fuel hoses in case of doubt (e.g., our order number 60470100850 or 60470100860).
