WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that originally do not use LED indicators, it may be necessary to change the flasher relay and/or reduce the flashing frequency to an acceptable level using resistors.

Options:

• If the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or if the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary matching extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870, or 50170400871)
• For easier connection without changes to the cables of the original indicators, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• If the installation is to replace the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are suitable adapter plates with which the installation is then possible without problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)
• With the adjustable resistor, it can also be used without problems for models with CAN-BUS systems (Order number 50220000640)
• For automatic deactivation of the position light during the indicator operation, this control box pair can be simply connected in between (Order number 50220000650)

Approval:
With E-mark for the front.
The indicators and the position light have an E-mark and require no further paperwork.
They can therefore be installed without any issues, in accordance with installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from around mid/late 90s):
Minimum distance between indicator glass to indicator glass at the front: 240 mm
Minimum distance between indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Permissible installation height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility up and down: 15 degrees
Permissible flashing frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles that have been individually approved, or outside the EU, different measurements may apply.
