WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that do not originally use LED indicators, it may be necessary to change the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

• If legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or if the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary matching extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870, or 50170400871)
• For easier connection without changes to the original indicator cables, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• If the installation is to be done instead of the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models there are suitable adapter plates that make installation easy (Order No. 50170100000 and following)

Approval:
With E-mark for front and rear.
The indicators have an E-mark and do not require further paperwork.
They can therefore be installed without further ado, according to the installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from approx. mid/late 90s):
Minimum distance between indicator glass to indicator glass front/rear: 240/180 mm
Minimum distance between indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Maximum distance of rear indicator to the outermost end of the tail: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility up and down: 15 degrees
Permissible flash frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles approved individually, or those outside the EU, different dimensions may apply.
