WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that do not originally use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flashing frequency to a permissible level.

Options:

• The toggle switch module turns off the position light while the indicator is activated to enhance its distinct visibility (Order number 50220000650)
• With the adjustable resistor, usage is possible even with almost all models with CAN-BUS without problems (Order number 50220000640)
• Depending on the model, suitable Kellermann resistors to adjust the flashing frequency (Order number 60490000990 or 60490000630)
• Depending on the model, suitable load-independent Kellermann flasher relays (Order number 60490001061 or 60490001060)
• If the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or something is simply in the way, additional necessary suitable extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 60490100050)
• For easier connection without changes to the original indicator cables, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• If mounting is to be done in place of the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models there are suitable adapter plates with which mounting is then possible without problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)

Approval:
With E-mark for the front.
The indicators and position lights have an E-mark and require no further paperwork.
They can therefore be installed without further ado, in accordance with installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from around mid/late 1990s) the following apply:
Minimum distance between indicator glass to indicator glass at the front: 240 mm
Minimum distance between indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inwards/outwards: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upwards and downwards: 15 degrees
Permissible flashing frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles individually approved for traffic, or in non-EU countries, different measurements may apply.
