WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that originally do not use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

• if the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or if the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary suitable extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870 or 50170400871)
• for easier connection without changes to the cables of the original indicators, corresponding adapter cables are available for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• if the installation is to be done in place of the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - suitable adapter plates are available for many manufacturers/models, making installation easy (Order No. 50170100000 and following)
• with the adjustable 2-channel resistor (Order No. 50220000640), use on models with CAN-BUS is also possible without problems - here 1x necessary per taillight/indicator

Approval:
With E-mark for the rear.
Indicators, rear, and brake lights have an E-mark and require no further paperwork.
They can be installed without any issues, in accordance with mounting regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from around mid/late 90s) apply:
Minimum distance from indicator glass to indicator glass at the rear: 240/180 mm
Maximum distance from rear indicator to the outermost end of the rear: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upward and downward: 15 degrees
Permissible flash frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles that have been individually approved, or outside the EU, different measurements may apply.
