WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that originally do not use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash rate to an acceptable level.

Options:

• if the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or if the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary matching extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870, or 50170400871)
• for easier connection without changes to the cables of the original indicators, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• if the installation is to be done in place of the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are matching adapter plates that make installation possible without problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)
• with the adjustable resistor, it can also be used without problems for models with CAN-BUS systems (Order No. 50220000640)
• also available as a version with integrated position light for the front (Order No. 50170702020 and 50170702021) or as a pure indicator (Order No. 50170702000 and 50170702001)

Approval:
With E-mark for the rear.
The indicators and position lights have an E-mark and do not require additional documentation.
They can be installed without further ado, in accordance with installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from about mid/end of the 90s), the following apply:
Minimum distance from indicator glass to indicator glass at the rear: 180 mm
Maximum distance from rear indicator to the outermost end of the rear: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upward and downward: 15 degrees
Permissible flash rate: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles that were individually approved, or in non-EU countries, different measurements may apply.
