WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that do not originally use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash rate to an acceptable level.

Options:

• If the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or if the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary matching extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400310)
• For easier connection without modifications to the cables of the original indicators, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• If the mounting is to be done in place of the original indicators, their attachment is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are suitable adapter plates that make mounting possible without any problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)
• With the adjustable resistor, it can also be used without problems for models with CAN-BUS system (Order number 50220000640)

Approval:
With E-mark for front and rear.
The indicators have an E-mark and do not require any additional papers.
They can therefore be installed without further ado, according to the installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from about mid/late 90s) the following apply:
Minimum distance between indicator glass to indicator glass front/rear: 240/180 mm
Minimum distance between indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Maximum distance from rear indicator to the outermost end of the tail: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upward and downward: 15 degrees
Permissible flash rate: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles approved individually, or outside the EU, different dimensions may apply.
