Sequential LED indicators with sequentially illuminating LEDs (so-called running effect) for increased safety through better visibility in this indicator mode.
In the ST08, the glowing arrow-shaped LEDs point outward, further increasing the attention of other road users.

WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that originally do not use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flashing frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

• if otherwise legal distances cannot be maintained or the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary matching extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870 or 50170400871)
• for easier connection without modifications to the original indicator cables, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• if mounting is to be done in place of the original indicators, their mounting is often too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are matching adapter plates that make mounting possible without problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)
• with the adjustable resistor, it can also be used without problems for models with CAN-BUS system (Order No. 50220000640)

Approval:
With E-mark for front and rear.
The indicators have an E-mark and require no further paperwork.
They can therefore be installed without further ado, in accordance with installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from around the mid/late 90s), the following apply:
Minimum distance from indicator glass to indicator glass front/rear: 240/180 mm
Minimum distance from indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Maximum distance from rear indicator to the outermost end of the rear: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inwards/outwards: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility up and down: 15 degrees
Permissible flashing frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles approved individually, or outside the EU, different measurements may apply.
