Sequential LED indicators with sequentially lighting LEDs (so-called running effect) for increased safety through better visibility in this indicator mode.

Details:

• when activated, the LEDs light up sequentially from the inside out until all are lit, then start over
• the increased visibility results in a gain in safety

WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that originally do not use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

• if the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or if the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870, or 50170400871)
• for easier connection without modifications to the original indicator cables, there are corresponding adapter cables available for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• if the installation is to replace the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are suitable adapter plates that make installation easily possible (Order No. 50170100000 and following)
• with the adjustable resistor, it can also be used without problems for models with CAN-BUS systems (Order number 50220000640)

Approval:
With E-mark for front and rear.
The indicators have an E-mark and require no further papers.
They can therefore be installed without any issues, according to the installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from about mid/late 90s) apply:
Minimum distance indicator glass to indicator glass front/rear: 240/180 mm
Minimum distance indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Maximum distance rear indicator to the outermost end of the tail: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility up and down: 15 degrees
Permissible flash frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles approved individually, or outside the EU, different measurements may apply.
