CAUTION:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that do not originally use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flashing frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

• if the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary matching extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870 or 50170400871)
• for easier connection without changes to the cables of the original indicators, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• if installation is to be done in place of the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are matching adapter plates that make installation possible without problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)
• also available as a version with integrated rear/brake lights (Order No. 50160301530) 

Approval:
With E-mark for front and rear.
The indicators have an E-mark and require no further paperwork.
They can therefore be installed without further ado, in accordance with installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from around mid/end of the 90s), the following apply:
Minimum distance indicator glass to indicator glass front/rear: 240/180 mm
Minimum distance indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Maximum distance rear indicator to the outermost end of the rear: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upward and downward: 15 degrees
Permissible flashing frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles that were put into circulation by individual approval, or outside the EU, different dimensions may apply.
