WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that do not originally use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

• If the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary matching extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870 or 50170400871)
• For easier connection without changes to the original indicator cables, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• If the installation is to be done instead of the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are suitable adapter plates that make installation possible without problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)
• With the adjustable resistor, also usable for models with CAN-BUS system without problems (Order number 50220000640)
• For the automatic shutdown of the position light during the indicator operation, this control box pair can be simply connected in between (Order number 50220000650)

Approval:
With E-mark for the front.
The indicators and the position light have an E-mark and require no further documentation.
They can therefore be installed without any problems, in accordance with the installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from around mid/late 90s) the following apply:
Minimum distance between indicator glass to indicator glass at the front: 240 mm
Minimum distance between indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility up and down: 15 degrees
Permissible flash frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles that have been put into circulation by individual approval, or outside the EU, different dimensions may apply.
