Info for Our German Customers:
On April 28, 2020, the German StVO regarding the use of speed camera alerts was tightened. According to the new legislation, it is still allowed to have the "Speed Camera Alerts" function installed on a smartphone or navigation device, but this service must not be actively used during trips within Germany. On all new TomTom products, this service is already deactivated by default. It is recommended to keep it deactivated during trips within Germany. If a customer drives in Germany with the speed camera alert activated, they risk a fine and points in Flensburg (additionally, there is a risk that the device will be confiscated for evidence purposes).
Deactivating Speed Camera Alerts:
- Select the main menu button in the map or route view to display the main menu
- Scroll to the right side of the display and select "Settings"
- Select "Sounds and Warnings"
- Slide the toggle for "Speed Camera Alerts" to the left to deactivate.

Also ich bin fast Sprachlos.... Wie kann man so einen absoluten müll überhaupt verkaufen??? Tomtom war früher mal so gut und jetzt nur noch schrott! Die Routenplanung ist ne katastrophe. Der Support nahezu nicht vorhanden. Routenführung geht nur gut wenn man vorher 3 Stunden an einer Rundtour plant und die strecke gaaanz genau abfährt sonst schick der einen ins Juhe das glaubt man nicht!!! Ich habe es auf der fahrt in die Tonne geschmissen und vorher meinen frust darüber ausgelassen! NIE MEHR!!

Zur Navigation: Kann ich gut mit leben, aber wenn einen das Gerät schon mal in die „Wüste“ über unbefestigte Straßen schickt oder durch reine Wohngebiete🤔. Ich hatte mich aber auch deshalb für dieses Gerät entschieden, da lt. Beschreibung auch eine Koppelung mit einem iPhone möglich sein sollte. Dies funktioniert im Prinzip nie, auch die sehr!!!! Hilfsbereite Crew vom Shop München Nord hat nach unzähligen Versuchen das Handtuch geworfen.

Im heutigen stand der Technik
Sollte ein Navi so programmiert sein, das es nicht durch jedes kuhdorf fährt! Wenn man spannende Route eingibt, fährt dieses Navi durch jedes Dorf obwohl man aussen vorbeifahren kann, nur weil da eine Kurve ist! Es fährt sogar in sackgassen nur für eine Kurve! 45 Minuten sinnlos durch Heidelberg geschickt, weil man schön Zickzack abbiegen kann für sinnlose Kurven. Also ganz ehrlich geht mir dieses Gerät auf den Sack! Kein Wunder das die Dorfbewohner sich beschweren über die Motorräder!
