Info for our German Customers:
On April 28, 2020, the German StVO was tightened regarding the use of speed camera alerts. According to the new legislation, it is still allowed to have the “speed camera alerts” function installed on a smartphone or navigation device, but this service may not be actively used when driving within Germany. This service is already deactivated by default on all new TomTom products. It is recommended to keep it deactivated when driving within Germany. If a customer drives in Germany with activated speed camera alerts, he/she risks a fine and points in Flensburg (additionally, there is a risk that the device may be confiscated for evidence purposes).
Deactivating speed camera alerts:
- Select the main menu button in the map or route view to display the main menu
- Scroll to the right side of the display and select the “Settings” option
- Select “Sounds and Warnings”
- Slide the “Speed Camera Alerts” toggle to the left to deactivate.

PRIMA Gerät zum Superpreis
ich hatte vorher Schon das Tomtom 400. Leider doch nicht so Wasserdicht wie beworben. Hielt aber 8 Jahre. Bin sehr zufrieden mit der Handhabung und dem Navigieren. Der Preis, noch dazu mit Geburtstagsrabatt unschlagbar.

TomTom Rider 500
Habe es als Ersatz für mein bisheriges Rider 500 gekauft, welches bereits 7 Jahre alt und bei Regen etwas undicht geworden ist. Ansonsten mag ich das Rider 500 sehr... alles bestens!

Robust und gut
Das Navi macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck. Mit dem im großen Set enthaltenen Zubehör und ein wenig Sachverstand ist es schnell am Motorrad angeschlossen und verbaut. Das Display ist immer recht gut abzulesen aber technisch wohl nicht mehr auf dem neuesten Stand. Die Routenführung und Routenplaner sowie die gesamte Bedienung ist intuitiv und leicht verständlich. Man muss nicht viel Zeit zuvor damit verbringen und es kommt je nach eingestellten Eckdaten eine tolle Strecke dabei raus. Empfehlung!

Naja
Das TomTom Navi war nach 2 defekten I-Phones als Motorrad 🏍 Navi die nächstbeste Wahl. Leider ist die Installation sowie die Einrichtung ehren mühselig (z.B. Verkabelung zur Batterie ist hauchdünn ich bin gespannt wann diese durch die Vibration durchgescheuert ist, Bluetooth Verbindung mit I-Phone ist problematisch). Ich habe jetzt zwei Tage für Einrichtung/ Installation benötigt und hoffe das die Routen Führung funktioniert (bei der ersten Fahrt wurden mir Feldwege als Strecke vorgeschlagen
