Enables the mounting of the GPS with existing RamMount holders on the handlebar clamp and possibly other locations.

Passt
Passt, wackelt und hat Luft. Hochwertige Ausführung, die mitgelieferten Schrauben passen. Auf dem Bild sind drei Schrauben abgebildet, geliefert wurden jedoch nur zwei. Die kürzere passte jedoch genau. Kann es weiter empfehlen.

Einfach, hochwertig und erfüllt den Zweck
Die Idee vom unauffällig aber sicher udn fest montierten Kugelkopf hat mir auf anhieb sehr gefallen. Da der Vorbesitzer meiner GSF 1200 sein Navi mit der gleichen Lösung befestigt hatte, wollte ich den Kugelkopf auch (wieder) nachrüsten. Die Meinungen im Internet sind gespalten und es ist auch davon zu lesen, dass der Kugelkopf nur aus »billigem Kunststoff« sei. Ich weiß nicht welchen Kugelkopf diejenigen gekauft haben, aber der von mir gekaufte Kugelkopf von SW-Motech ist aus Aluminium und nicht aus Kunststoff. Gejammert wurde auch es würden keine Schrauben aus Edelstahl beiliegen. Einfach ein wenig nachlesen wie sich Aluminium und Edelstahl miteinander vertragen - und das will man sich dann freiwilig an der Halterung vom Lenker zumuten? Klarlack über den Schraubenkkopf, dann gammelt da auch nichts. Daher: Eine klare Kaufempfehlung von mir für den Kugelkopf von SW-Motech. Den Preis von etwa 20 Euro halte ich für angemessen (Konkurrenzprodukte mögen günstiger sein, aber wenn die dann wirklich aus Kunststoff sind: Nein, Danke). PS: Für die GSF 1200 wird die Variante in M8 benötigt. ;)

Gut aber zu teuer
Das Produkt erfüllt genau seinen Zweck, der Preis von 19,95 ist aber schlicht weg eine Frechheit für 2 Standartschrauben und eine Metallkugel!

ermöglicht bei der MT-09, wie hier bei der XSR im Bild, eine super gute Positionierung des TomTom ohne das es nach ober weit absteht
Einfache Montage anstelle der Originalschraube seitlich vom Scheinwerfer. kann damit das Navi schön tief fast auf höhe des Cockpits positionieren damit sich die Augen bei einem schnellen Blick nicht so umstellen müssen (jaja, wir werden alle nicht jünger....). Für mich klar die beste Befestigungslösung. Das die Kugel relativ wenig Grip für die Klemmung bietet kann ich bestätigen, ich bekomme mein Navi aber trotzdem schön fest. Hatte bei nem anderen Motorrad mal so ein gummiertes Teil wo sich nach einiger Zeit und einigen Verstellungen der Gummi verabschiedet hat - dann hielt d nichts mehr. Deshalb finde ich das hier absolut in Ordnung.
