Smart Nord Handlebar Mirror Adapter/Riser
Mounting screw for the handlebar mirror if the supplied one does not fit or if the mirror needs to be positioned higher.
Details:
- Simply mounted in addition to the M10x1.25 right-hand thread of the mirror.
- Always raises the mirror by approximately 20 mm.
- Since most accessory mirrors are supplied with the M10x1.25 right-hand thread for motorcycles, the adapters provide a significantly larger selection of mirrors that can be used on other models.
- As a pure M10R to M10R riser, it can be enough to no longer see your own arm/shoulder area so prominently in the mirror.
- We recommend using threadlocker for installation.
Versions:
- M10R to M8R: Allows mounting all handlebar mirrors with M10x1.25 right-hand thread on models that originally have a short M8x1.25 right-hand thread - these are most scooters (except, for example, Yamaha/MBK only on the right handlebar side and many Piaggio models with long threads). The adapter therefore has an M8x1.25R external thread and an M10x1.25R internal thread.
- M10R to M8L: Allows mounting all handlebar mirrors with M10x1.25 right-hand thread on models that originally have an M8x1.25 left-hand thread - these are most Yamaha/MBK scooters only on the right handlebar side (also some other models e.g. from Beta, etc.). The adapter therefore has an M8x1.25L external thread and an M10x1.25R internal thread.
- M10R to M10L: Allows mounting all handlebar mirrors with M10x1.25 right-hand thread on models that originally have an M10x1.25 left-hand thread on the right handlebar side - these are almost all Ducati from the year 2003 and all Yamaha models. The adapter therefore has an M10x1.25L external thread and an M10x1.25R internal thread. To ensure both mirrors are at the same height, we recommend a corresponding riser for the left handlebar side with M10x1.25 right-hand thread (M10R to M10R).
- Riser M10R to M10R: As a complement to the M10R to M10L adapter or simply to raise the mirror with M10x1.25 right-hand thread (also for original or already existing other accessory mirrors). The adapter therefore has an M10x1.25R external thread and an M10x1.25R internal thread.

Passt
Ich wollte an meiner Yamaha XSR900 die Gewindestangen der Spiegel verlängern um mehr Sicht nach hinten zu erhalten. Das Adapterstück mit Rechtsgewinde passt auf beiden Seiten und verlagert den Spiegel ca. 2cm nach Aussen. Einzig zu bemängeln ist das Innengewinde, das etwas zu groß geschnitten ist - man muss vorsichtig anziehen sonst könnte es ausreissen....
