NOTE:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that originally do not use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

• if the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or simply if the license plate is in the way, additional necessary extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860 or 50170400870)
• for easier connection without changes to the cables of the original indicators, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following  as well as 50170502000 and following)
• if the installation is to be done in place of the original indicators, their mounting is often too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are suitable adapter plates that make installation possible without any problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)

Approval:
With E-mark for front and rear.
The indicators have an E-mark and require no further documents.
They can therefore be installed without further ado, in accordance with installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from around the mid/late 90s), the following apply:
Minimum distance indicator glass to indicator glass front/rear: 240/180 mm
Minimum distance indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Maximum distance rear indicator to the outermost end of the rear: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility up and down: 15 degrees
Permissible flash frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles that were put into service by individual approval, or in non-EU countries, different dimensions may apply.
