Shido Battery Charger Dual Canbus System 1A EU

Lithium batteries offer excellent performance levels. To maintain this performance, they must be charged correctly. To meet this market need, we have developed our own Shido battery chargers suitable for motorcycles and motorsport applications. Shido dual battery chargers feature a unique and optimized algorithm that allows for safe charging of both lithium LiFePO4 and lead-acid batteries.

One of the most important points is that charging a deeply discharged lithium battery (<10 V) must be done very carefully, starting with a very low voltage and a very low current. Applying high voltage and high current to discharged lithium batteries leads to premature battery failure. Chargers that exceed 15 volts for a certain period can also severely damage your lithium battery.

Shido dual chargers maintain your battery's charge even after the charging process is completed. The charger checks the voltage every 4 hours. If the battery voltage drops below 12.8 volts, the charger restarts the charging process. DC AFAM can now confidently recommend a charger for both lithium and lead-acid batteries.
