Shad Pin System Tank Ring Adapter
Allows you to securely attach the Pin System tank bags in seconds on your bike.
Details:
- of course, you can also remove the tank bag with a single motion
- no contact of the tank bag with the vehicle's paint when the fuel cap is approximately the highest point (this is the case with almost all models)
- can also be used on aluminum and plastic tanks
- enables easy refueling
- additionally required for every Shad Pin System tank bag
- for model-specific mounting on the fuel cap
- usually, 3 of the mounting screws are replaced by these small receiving pins
- compared to other tank ring systems, only very small parts protrude and do not interfere as much when no tank bag is mounted
- in the Bike-DB, you will find which adapter you need for your model
- the adapters are also suitable for many more models that use the same fuel cap as these models - unfortunately, neither Shad nor we, the Polo technicians, have been able to test all models yet (only those with an adapter in the Bike-DB)

super dezent auf dem Tank, Tankrucksack wieder Erwarten sehr einfach einzurasten und abzunehmen
Als langjähriger Quick-Lock-Benutzer war ich etwas skeptisch ob das alles so gut funktioniert. Ich wurde positiv überrascht! Die Pinne auf dem Tank sind in echt noch dezenter als hier auf den Bildern und damit erheblich kleiner als der Quick-Lock Tankring. Nun wusste ich nicht wie sich die Tankrucksäcke genau darauf befestigen lassen - standen noch auf keiner Messe wo ich war. Aber auch hier geht das ähnlich simpel wie beim gewohnten System. Man muss einmal ein Gefühl für die Position der Pinne zum Tankrucksack aufbauen, dann zieht man den Tankrucksack einfach von vorne auf die Pilze bis er einrastet. Lösen kann man den ebenfalls wie gewohnt über einen Zug vorne am Tankrucksack. Ich kann es empfehlen.

Funktional und dezent
Ich habe mich für das System von SHAD entschieden und wurde bei meiner GSF650 SA nicht enttäuscht. Die Gewindestäbe mit den aufgeschraubten Pins lassen sich sehr einfach montieren und fallen bei nicht aufgesetztem Tankrucksack kaum auf. Das Aufsetzen und Abnehmen des Rucksacks funktioniert schon nach 2-3 Versuchen intuitiv. Ohne zusätzliche Gurte ist auch bei 180 km/h kein Flattern des Rucksacks sichtbar oder spürbar. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung, auch wenn der Preis im Vergleich zu einem gewöhnlichen Rucksack mit Magneten und Gurten doch höher ist. Würde mich jederzeit wieder für das SHAD System entscheiden.
