Dirt, oil, and the abrasion from your brakes settle into the smallest crevices of your motorcycle. Racing Dynamic brake cleaner provides a solution. An accessory that should not be missing in any well-stocked workshop. In fact, the fast-evaporating spray is a true all-rounder, removing even stubborn encrustations.
Brake cleaner is suitable, contrary to what its name might suggest, for cleaning all components on your bike's engine. It is often used to clean rims and chains on motorcycles or bicycles. However, caution is advised here. Brake cleaner removes all lubricants from the chain, reducing its durability and making it much more susceptible to rust. Special chain cleaners are better suited for this job.
You can degrease metal parts with brake cleaner before painting. It is also suitable for polishing oily tools. Important: Plastics and rubbers do not get along well with the highly effective cleaner. It dissolves plasticizers and makes the material brittle,
The Racing Dynamic brake cleaner is indispensable when you change the brake discs and pads on your motorcycle. Once you have jacked up the bike and removed the wheel, you can start changing the discs and brake pads. You remove dirt from the rims, brake calipers, and holes with brake cleaner and, if necessary, with a wire brush.
New brake discs are usually painted or have a thin grease film to protect against corrosion. This reduces the friction value between the brake disc and brake pad and diminishes braking effectiveness. Be sure to thoroughly clean the new discs with Racing Dynamic brake cleaner before installation, available at POLO at an unbeatable price.
You can change brakes all year round. However, you should carry out the prior cleaning in a well-ventilated area or outdoors. Although brake cleaner evaporates without residue, inhaling it is harmful to health.
