RACING DYNAMIC Brake Fluid DOT 5.1 LV

For all common hydraulic brake and clutch systems originally requiring DOT 3, DOT 4, or DOT 5.1 (including cars and trucks).

Details:

  • Glycol-based
  • Universally usable in cars, trucks, and motorcycles that require brake fluid according to ISO 4925 Class 7 or lower
  • Exceeds conventional brake fluids according to FMVSS NR. 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4 and can be used in the corresponding applications
  • Excellent vapor lock protection - DOT 5.1 has a significantly higher boiling point and lower fading tendency compared to DOT 3 and DOT 4
  • Very quick brake response time even in cold conditions (viscosity at -40°C ≤750mm²/s) - at very low temperatures, DOT 5.1 is thinner than DOT 4 or even DOT 3
  • Specifically developed for modern vehicles with stability control systems like ABS, which can react faster
  • Protection of brake and clutch hydraulics against deposits and corrosion while ensuring high material compatibility
  • WARNING: Brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture from the air - therefore, all vehicle manufacturers generally recommend a replacement every 24 months, regardless of mileage
  • DOT 5.1 often allows for a longer replacement interval - see tester options
  • WARNING: Not to be used in Harley-Davidson models up to around 2005 and older Buell systems that require DOT 5 silicone-based brake fluid
