Approval (in Germany):
With ABE
The supplied ABE booklet must be carried during the ride.
An entry in the vehicle papers is possible for convenience but not necessary.

Only if your model in the Bike-DB contains the note "with parts certificate" is the following necessary for approval (if this note is not found, the fork has an ABE!!):
With TÜV parts certificate.
Here, an inspector (TÜV, Dekra, etc.) must confirm the correct installation before operation in public road traffic.
This inspection confirmation must then, similar to an ABE, be carried during the ride.
At the next opportunity (i.e., the next trip to the road traffic office for registration/deregistration/reregistration), this should then be incorporated into the registration papers.

Please note that in Switzerland the road legislation does not correspond to the EU. A clarification for approval for the Swiss motorcycle vehicle inspection must be made in the store/online shop before ordering. Technical articles that are rejected for registration can unfortunately no longer be returned. Costs may arise for issuing a necessary Swiss certification if the goods were not purchased in Switzerland.
