  • Manual and machine processing: The brake fluid can be easily processed both manually and with common bleeding devices, offering you flexible application options.
  • Compatibility with ABS systems: Developed for use in modern ABS brake systems, this fluid offers reliable performance in all safety-critical situations.
  • High lubricity: It ensures excellent lubrication of all moving parts in hydraulic brake and clutch systems and extends the lifespan of your components.
  • Hygroscopic properties: Due to its nature, the fluid must always be stored in tightly sealed containers to maintain quality. A regular replacement is recommended every 24 months.
  • Specifications: Complies with FMVSS 116 DOT 3/4, ISO 4925 Class 3/4, SAE J 1703/1704 and is thus ideal for vehicles requiring these standards.

Liqui Moly Brake Fluid SL6 DOT 4 Glycol

Synthetic brake fluid based on glycol ethers, alkylene polyglycols, and glycol ether esters.

Details:

  • Features a high boiling and wet boiling point
  • This ensures safe braking even after some moisture absorption over extended use - excellent protection against vapor lock
  • Can be processed manually and in all conventional brake fluid bleeding devices
  • The brake fluid is also suitable for use in ABS brake systems
  • Ensures high lubricity of all moving parts in the hydraulic brake or clutch system
  • Note: Brake fluid is hygroscopic and must be stored in tightly sealed containers. After removal, immediately reseal the container - therefore, a replacement is generally recommended by all vehicle manufacturers every 24 months, regardless of mileage, as a precaution
  • For all vehicles requiring DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid
  • Glycol-based = WARNING: under no circumstances use with Harley-Davidson models up to about 2005 and older Buell systems that require DOT 5 silicone-based brake fluid!!
  • WARNING: hydraulic Magura clutches (e.g., on KTM) also require a special fluid and cannot be filled with this brake fluid
