The sixth volume now leads for the first time across the pond, directly to California—and includes route and sightseeing tips for the most beautiful roads on the US West Coast and inland.
Stefan Bogner's journey starts in Los Angeles. Via the Pacific Coast Highway, it goes to San Francisco, the city of Bullitt and the Summer of Love, then into Yosemite Valley. Right into overwhelmingly beautiful nature—and yet back into the mountains. After the Panamint Mountains, Bogner heads into Death Valley, naturally with plenty of water and fuel on board, to then briefly leave California and fly a little helicopter in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon also want to be photographed from the air. Over the Mojave Desert, Palm Springs, and Salvation Mountain, he finally rolls back to the Pacific.
