WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that do not originally use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash frequency to an acceptable level.

Approval:
With E-mark for front and rear.
The indicators have an E-mark and require no further paperwork.
They can therefore be installed without further ado, in accordance with installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from around mid/late 90s):
Minimum distance between indicator glass to indicator glass front/rear: 240/180 mm
Minimum distance between indicator glass to headlight glass: due to ECE-R 6 only 20 mm instead of the otherwise required 75 mm
Maximum distance of rear indicator to the outermost end of the tail: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility up and down: 15 degrees
Permissible flash frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles approved individually, or outside the EU, different measurements may apply.
