Universal directional indicator for installation - sensationally small, sensationally bright!

  • When it lights up, it is impossible to miss - spectacularly bright thanks to EXtranz® - Extreme Optical Transparency Technology with a sophisticated system of lenses and reflectors
  • Longlife Protection Guard®, IC controlled, 330kHz clocked
  • High-quality robust metal housing
  • The entire electronics are housed within the casing, allowing this indicator to be operated directly on the 12-volt network

WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that do not originally use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flashing frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

  • For easier connection without modifications to the original indicator cables, corresponding adapter cables are available for many manufacturers/models (order number 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
  • Also available as a pure rear/brake light (order number 50160330070 and 50160330071)
  • Also available as an indicator version with integrated rear/brake light (order number 50160330080)

Approval:
With E-marking for front and rear.
The indicators are E-marked and require no further documentation.
They can therefore be installed in accordance with the assembly regulations without any issues.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from about mid/late 90s) the following apply:
Minimum distance from indicator lens to indicator lens front/rear: 240/180 mm
Minimum distance from indicator lens to headlight lens: 75 mm
Maximum distance from rear indicator to the outermost end of the tail: 300 mm
Permissible installation height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inwards/outwards: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upwards and downwards: 15 degrees
Permissible flashing frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles brought into traffic through individual approval, or outside the EU, different measurements may apply.
