WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that do not originally use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flashing frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

• For easier connection without modifying the cables of the original indicators, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• To avoid having to modify the vehicle's cables for connection, there are adapters for many models to the original plug or for the original tail light bulb holder (Order No. 50160300960 and following)
• On some models with CAN-BUS on-board network, it may be necessary to additionally connect resistors to the tail light to avoid error messages in the cockpit for a defective bulb (Order No. 50220000360 and following)
• With the adjustable 2-channel resistor (Order No. 50220000640), use on models with CAN-BUS can be easily accomplished - 1x necessary per tail light/indicator
• Mounting adapter for M8 or M10 thread/diameter (Order No. 60490100070, 60490100071, 60490100072)
• If mounting is to be done in place of the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are suitable adapter plates that make mounting easier (Order No. 50170100000 and following - WARNING: designed for M8 mounting - please order mounting adapter if necessary!!)
• Extension to position the indicator 15 mm further out (Order No. 60490100080)

Approval:
With E-mark for the rear.
Indicators, tail, and brake lights have an E-mark and do not require further documentation.
They can therefore be installed in accordance with installation regulations without any issues.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from approximately mid/late 1990s):
Minimum distance between indicator lens to indicator lens: 180 mm
Maximum distance of rear indicator to the outer end of the rear: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upward and downward: 15 degrees
Permissible flashing frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles approved individually, or outside the EU, different dimensions may apply.
