The Shin Yo LED Indicator/Taillight Pair Fineline M8 offers a unique combination of functionality and aesthetics. These universal indicators replace the central taillight and are equipped with a lightweight, vibration-protected housing.

  • Vibration Protection: Lightweight plastic housing with rubber base minimizes vibrations and ensures a long lifespan, allowing you to get the best out of your motorcycle on every ride.
  • Integrated Functions: These compact units combine indicators, taillight, and brake light to significantly improve visibility and safety in traffic.
  • Light Guide System: The four high-luminosity SMDs in the innovative Light Guide System guarantee maximum brightness, ensuring you are well seen even in difficult lighting conditions.
  • Easy Installation: Mounting via M8x1.25 thread and nut allows for quick and uncomplicated attachment to almost any motorcycle model.
  • Flexible Adjustment: With a variety of adapter cables and extensions (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870, 50170400871), the system can be individually adjusted and expanded.
  • Technical Dimensions: With compact dimensions of 58 x 17 x 25 mm and a cable length of 34 cm, the set fits perfectly on many motorcycle models and offers flexible installation options.

Shin Yo LED Indicator/Taillight Pair Fineline M8

Universal directional indicators with integrated taillights and brake lights for the rear.

Details:

  • replace the central taillight
  • lightweight plastic housing
  • with rubber base against vibrations for a long lifespan
  • mounting via M8x1.25 thread and nut
  • 4 high-luminosity SMD with a lot of power in the light guide system

Cable Assignment:
yellow = taillight (+)
blue = indicator (+)
red = brake light (+)
black = ground (-)

WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that do not originally use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

  • also available as a version with integrated position light (Order No. 50170401100) and as a pure indicator version (Order No. 50170401090)
  • if the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or if the license plate simply gets in the way, additional necessary extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870, or 50170400871)
  • for easier connection without modifications to the cables of the original indicators, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following), the taillight and brake light must also be connected separately on your own
  • if the installation is to be done in place of the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are suitable adapter plates that make installation possible without any problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)

Approval:
With E-mark for the rear.
The indicators, taillights, and brake lights have an E-mark and do not require any additional paperwork.
They can therefore be installed without further ado, in accordance with installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from around mid/late 90s), the following apply:
Minimum distance from indicator glass to indicator glass at the rear: 180 mm
Minimum distance from indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Maximum distance from rear indicator to the outermost end of the tail: 300 mm
Permissible installation height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upward and downward: 15 degrees
Permissible flash frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles that have been put into service by individual approval, or outside the EU, different dimensions may apply.
