Universal direction indicators in anodized aluminum housing with integrated taillight/brake light and tinted glass.

ATTENTION:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that do not originally use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

• With the adjustable resistor, use is possible even with almost all models with CAN-BUS without problems (Order number 50220000640)
• If the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or if the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary suitable extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870, or 50170003561)
• For easier connection without changes to the cables of the original indicators, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following  as well as 50170502000 and following)
• If the installation is to take place in place of the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are suitable adapter plates with which installation is then possible without problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)

Approval:
With E-marking for the rear.
The indicators, taillights, and brake lights have an E-marking and require no further documentation.
They can be installed without further ado in accordance with the installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from about mid/late 90s), the following apply:
Minimum distance between indicator glass to indicator glass at the rear: 180 mm
Maximum distance from rear indicator to the outermost end of the rear: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upward and downward: 15 degrees
Permissible flash frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles that were put into circulation by individual approval, or outside the EU, different dimensions may apply.
