Details:
- Cables must be regularly lubricated for long-lasting durability to remain easy to operate
- The cable oiler makes this task easy, clean, and quick
- Dismantle the cable to be lubricated from the handlebar
- The cable oiler has several gradations inside for different outer diameters of the coverings
- Place the cable in the oiler so that the sheath rests against one of the inner edges and the cable core (wire mesh) protrudes from the oiler
- Now tighten the device using the adjustment screw
- Through the side opening in the oiler, lubricant can now be introduced into the interior of the cable using an aerosol can

Taugt für meinen Fall nichts
Die bei mir verbauten Züge für Gas/Schaltung sind verhältnismäßig dünn. Da dichtet das Gummi überhaupt nicht gegen den Zug ab und jede Menge Schmiermittel spritzt anstatt in die Hülle am Zugseil vorbei nach draußen. Auch bei den dickeren Zügen für Kupplung/Handbremse ist es schwierig das Teil so dicht zu bekommen, dass man zumindest den Eindruck hat, Teile des Schmiermittels kommt dahin, wohin man es haben möchte. Für mich eine Fehlinvestition.
