WARNING:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that do not originally use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flashing frequency to an acceptable level.

Options:

• If the legal distances cannot otherwise be maintained or if the license plate is simply in the way, additional necessary matching extensions for the indicator arm can be used (Order No. 50170400860, 50170400870 or 50170400871)
• for easier connection without modifications to the original indicator cables, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
• if the installation is to be carried out instead of the original indicators, their attachment is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models there are suitable adapter plates with which the installation is then possible without problems (Order No. 50170100000 and following)
• with the adjustable resistor, also usable for models with CAN-BUS system without problems (Order No. 50220000640)
• also available as a smaller micro version (Order No. 50170702000 and 50170702001)
• also available as a version with integrated position light (Order No. 50170702020 and 50170702021) or with integrated brake/tail light (Order No. 50160350000 and 50160350001)

Approval:
With E-mark for front and rear.
The indicators have an E-mark and require no further paperwork.
They can therefore be installed without any issues, in accordance with installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from around mid/late 90s) the following apply:
Minimum distance indicator glass to indicator glass front/rear: 240/180 mm
Minimum distance indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Maximum distance rear indicator to the outermost end of the tail: 300 mm
Permissible installation height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upward and downward: 15 degrees
Permissible flashing frequency: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles that have been individually approved, or in non-EU countries, different dimensions may apply.
