Approval (in Germany):
With ABE for many models (see attached PDF).
The ABE booklet must be carried during the ride.
Registration in the vehicle documents is possible for convenience reasons but not necessary.
WARNING: If your model is not listed in the ABE, this is used as a TÜV report - then a presentation at TÜV/Dekra is necessary after consultation and immediately after installation to obtain confirmation of the correct installation and thus approval by individual acceptance according to §19.2.

Installation Instructions:

The installation of the handlebar is only possible on motorcycles that have appropriate risers with a handlebar clamp of Ø22.2 mm.
All lines and cables must be routed so that they are kink-free and stress-free during all steering and suspension movements, and there is sufficient distance to chafing points.
The brake hoses must not have a bending radius of less than 40 mm. At full steering lock, with the engine running, the engine speed must not change.
Attention must be paid to the functional position of all controls on the handlebar, even at full steering lock. The handbrake cylinder or reservoirs must be in a functional working position.
Attention must be paid to the free movement of the handlebar, its attachments, and sufficient steering lock on each side. The handlebar must move easily from steering stop to steering stop.
After installation, a functional check of the brakes, clutch, throttle, lighting, and horn must be carried out.
