The Givi Tanklock Tank Bag XL04 X-Line offers flexibility and comfort with its 15-20 liters of storage space. The innovative Tanklock system allows for quick mounting and dismounting. Perfect for adventures on your BMW R 1200/1250 GS or KTM 1290 Adventure.

  • Tanklock Adapter Required: The bag is attached via a Tanklock adapter, which must be purchased separately. This keeps your tank free of straps or magnets.
  • Easy Handling: With a quick click, the tank bag can be removed and attached to the Tanklock adapters, ideal for spontaneous rides.
  • Water-Repellent Inner Bag: Thanks to IPX5 waterproof rating, your belongings stay dry and safe even in heavy rain.

Givi Tanklock Tank Bag XL04 X-Line 15-20 Liters

Large tank bag for steeper rearward sloping tank shapes with appropriate size regardless of tank material (steel, aluminum, plastic) - e.g., BMW R 1200/1250 GS, KTM 1290 Adventure, etc..
In the Tanklock system, it can be easily removed and attached to the Tanklock adapter in seconds.

  • The attachment is done via the additionally required Givi Tanklock adapters - no attachment via straps or magnets directly on the tank! 
  • Very easy handling - attachable and detachable to the Tanklock adapters in seconds
  • Large main compartment adjustable in height for volume expansion
  • Removable water-repellent inner bag, IPX5 waterproof rating (resistant to heavy rain and extreme conditions)
  • 2-way zipper, easy to operate even with gloves
  • Map pocket with quick hook and unhook and magnet (Fidlock®) for the tank bag lid
  • Cable passage
  • Reflective inserts for better visibility
  • High-strength 1200D W/R polyester and TPU inserts
  • Thermoformed cover and case bottom
  • Outer material with high UV resistance
  • Includes shoulder strap for carrying off the motorcycle

Function of the Tanklock System:

  • Individual positioning according to tank shape and steering angle on the Tanklock tank ring is possible without any problems
  • Due to the rigid bottom plate and the mounting base of the tank bag, it is decoupled from the tank
  • There is therefore no rubbing on the paint and no scratches
  • The tank bag is simply placed on the adapter and then mechanically locked
  • To release, simply operate the side red lever and the quick release frees it again - no dangling or fluttering pull straps! 
  • The tank bag mounting flange is already screwed to the underside of the tank bag
  • This can be fixed individually according to the adapter position on the respective tank in 5 positions further forward or backward
  • Only the additionally required Tanklock adapter (tank ring) is firmly mounted on the outer ring of the tank cap or, depending on the motorcycle, as a separate adapter
  • Due to the different adapter types, the system can be mounted on almost any tank cap with an outer ring and also on many models with other tank caps, regardless of its position
  • This must be selected according to your tank cap version or model and purchased additionally
  • Which one is suitable can be found either in the Bike-DB or if not found there through the number of fastening points of the tank cap on your brand
