Givi Tanklock Adapter

Allows the Tanklock and Tanklock ED tank bags to be attached extremely easily in seconds to various motorcycles.

Details:

  • Additionally required for every Givi Tanklock tank bag
  • For quick mounting/dismounting of the Givi Tanklock tank bag
  • The mechanical locking mechanism reliably secures the tank bag
  • The quick release via a side lever allows for removal with a single hand movement
  • No contact of the tank bag with the vehicle's paint (assuming the appropriate choice of tank bag)
  • Can be used on both aluminum and plastic tanks
  • Allows for easy refueling
  • Can be mounted on the tank cap or on the "tank" in front of the rider, even if the actual tank is in the rear of your model
  • Usually attached using the screws of the tank's outer ring
  • Some models have special solutions not necessarily positioned on the tank cap - see installation instructions and images
  • Which fits which model can be seen in the Bike-DB - but also fits many models with identical tank caps
  • Consists of the mounting adapter for the tank ring or for the position in front of the rider
  • WARNING: The plastic ring that comes on the tank adapter is not included with every adapter, in which case the one supplied with the tank bag is used!

Function of the Tanklock System:

  • An individual positioning of the bag according to tank shape and handlebar angle on the Tanklock tank ring is easily possible
  • Due to the rigid base plate and the mounting base of the tank bag, it is decoupled from the tank
  • There is no rubbing on the paint and no scratches
  • The tank bag is simply placed on the adapter and then mechanically locks in place
  • To release, simply operate the side red lever and the quick release frees it again - no dangling or flapping straps!
  • The tank bag mounting flange is simply screwed into the desired position on the underside of the tank bag
  • This can be individually fixed to the adapter position on the respective tank - depending on the tank bag, this can be in up to 5 positions further forward or backward
  • Only the Tanklock adapter (tank ring) is firmly mounted on the outer ring of the tank cap or, depending on the motorcycle, as a separate adapter
  • Due to the different adapter types, the system can be mounted on almost any tank cap with an outer ring and also on many models with other tank caps, regardless of their position
  • This must be selected to match your tank cap version or model and purchased additionally
  • Which one is suitable can be found either in the Bike-DB or, if not found there, by the number of fastening points of the tank cap on your brand

Options:

  • Matching Tanklock tank bags (order number 70231000000 and following)
  • Also available as a matching Tanklock adapter for mounting on the seat or on luggage racks (order number 70231000800)
  • Individual nylon ring (bowl) to, for example, use a tank bag on multiple motorcycles if not included with the adapter (order number 70231008000)

Approval:
Tank bag mounts do not need to be approved, therefore do not require test marks, certificates, or ABEs.

tolles System

Ich finde das von den aktuellen Schnellverschlussystemen von der Handhabung das Beste. Mit der "Trichteroptik" kann ich gut leben - fahre eh fast immer mit kleinem Tankrucksack.

Super einfach zu montieren. Hab mich zuerst gewundert, dass es nur Anbaumaterial ist - der "Teller" ist beim Tankrucksack dabei...
