Mein bisher bestes aber nicht perfektes Garmin
Das Zūmo XT ist mein drittes Garmin seit 2005. 1. Gerät: Streetpilot 2610, top, bis es 2010 keine Kartenupdates mehr gab 2. Gerät (2012): Zūmo 220, langsam bei Reaktion & Berechnung, als es von Garmin keine Updates mehr gab OSM-Karten installiert 3. Gerät (2024): Zūmo XT, gutes Display, gute Anzeigeoptionen, schnelle Reaktionszeit & Routenberechnung, live Verkehrsdaten über iPhone-App, Kartenimport & Tourplanung in MapSource möglich, zu viel Firlefanz erschwert Suche nach wesentlichen Funktionen

Sehr Gut leider immer noch nicht frei von BUGs
Ich bin vom Zumo 395 zum Zumo XT gewechselt und bin begeistert. Das Display ist bei jeder Witterung sehr gut ablesbar. Das Navi reagiert angenehm flott. Verbindung zu PC und Handy und Headset ohne Probleme. Garmin Express hat das XT anstandslos gefunden und die aktuellen Karten auf PC und XT installiert. Routen planen mit Basecamp funktioniert wie gewohnt. Abzug gibt es für die zahlreichen BUGs die das Gerät immer noch hat, wie Routenplanung am Gerät, Zwischenziel bearbeiten, Sperrungen usw.

Sehr enttäuscht vom Marktführer
Gut an dem Navi ist da Display, das ist wirklich super hell.Seit dem Kauf im Jan. 2021 alle paar Wochen Updates. Nervt. Routenplanung + Import-schwierig. Umplanen am Navi-Katastrophe, wenn man die Reihenfolge manuel ändert rechnet er jedesmal neu...ätzend. Viele Gimmecks dran,die aber nicht jeder braucht, dafür die Wesentlichen Sachen unterbelichtet. Davon bin ich echt enttäuscht, mein altes TOMTOM 2013 hat bei den kurvenreichen Routen das gleiche (nur langsamer) geleistet. Strassensperre=Chaos!

Garmin XT- Schönes Navi
Ich habe lange überlegt ob ich das Navi zu dem Preis kaufe. Ist etwas teuer. Dann habe ich die Bewertungen gelesen und ich hatte nur eins der genannten Probleme. Für das erste aufladen des Akkus sollte ein kräftiges (> 2 A) Ladegerät genutzt werden. Habe ich gegoogelt, sofort eine Antwort gefunden und umgesetzt. Damit war alles in Ordnung und ich bin begeistert. Das Display ist richtig gut und die Bedienung finde ich auch in Ordnung. Koppeln Telefon und Headset klappte sofort.

Begeistert
Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Ich bin vom Zumo 660 zum Zumo XT gewechselt und bin absolut begeistert. Navi ins WLAN eingebunden, es wurden sofort alle Update gefunden und auf Knopfdruck installiert (13GB). Garmin Express hat das XT ebenfalls anstandslos gefunden und die Map ebenfalls ohne Probleme lokal installiert. BaseCamp hat Navi ebenfalls sofort gefunden. Auf dem Handy die App Garmin Drive installiert und Bluetooth Verbindung ebenfalls ohne Fehler verbunden. KAUFTIPP!

Ist das Geld nicht Wert
Preis Leistung ist hier absolut nicht gegeben. Routenerstellung am PC dank Garmin Express und Base camp kaum möglich da sich die Karten kaum am PC aktualisieren oder Installieren lassen, da sehr schlechter Server Erreichbarkeit. Der Support von Garmin reagiert auf diese Probleme selten oder gar nicht.

Meine Topografische Karte
Seit einem Update im April 2021 sind die Vorinstallierten topografischen Karten für die Geländenavigation nicht mehr vorhanden (dies war eigentlich mein Kaufgrund). Ansonsten ist das Gerät sehr gut zu handhaben.
