Click n Ride LED Indicator Pair with Quick Release

The indicator for all sports riders.
When not needed on the racetrack or off-road, you can easily remove the indicator from the permanently mounted base with a single motion!
Only 15mm short mounts with caps for sealing remain on the motorcycle. 
To participate in road traffic again, simply plug the indicator back into its holder.

  • lightweight plastic housing
  • mounting is done via a clamp in the fairing / holder - a 9mm hole must be available for insertion
  • the indicator itself is securely held in the base with a plug connection
  • some force is required to pull it out to prevent accidental detachment
  • each 3 very bright SMDs ensure consistently good visibility
  • 12 volts, 3 watts

CAUTION:
When using LED indicators on vehicles that originally do not use LED indicators, it may be necessary to replace the flasher relay and/or use resistors to reduce the flash rate to an acceptable level.

Options:

  • for easier connection without changes to the original indicator cables, there are corresponding adapter cables for many manufacturers/models (Order No. 50170003460 and following as well as 50170502000 and following)
  • if mounting is to replace the original indicators, their mounting is usually too large - for many manufacturers/models, there are suitable adapter plates that allow for easy installation (from ShinYo Order No. 50170100050 and following)

Approval:
With E-mark for front and rear.
The indicators have an E-mark and require no further papers.
They can be installed without further ado, in accordance with installation regulations.

For motorcycles with E-approval (from about mid/late 90s) the following apply:
Minimum distance between indicator glass to indicator glass front/rear: 240/180 mm
Minimum distance between indicator glass to headlight glass: 75 mm
Maximum distance of rear indicator to the outermost end of the tail: 300 mm
Permissible mounting height: 350 to 1200 mm
Geometric visibility inward/outward: 20/80 degrees
Geometric visibility upward and downward: 15 degrees
Permissible flash rate: 60 to 120 cycles per minute
For older models, vehicles approved individually, or outside the EU, different measurements may apply.
