Compact charging adapter to operate GPS, smartphone, etc. in the small DIN onboard socket Ø12mm, as installed in many BMW, Triumph, Ducati, etc.
The angled plug prevents the cable from sticking out annoyingly. Especially for models where the onboard socket is mounted on the side, this helps enormously.

Hat seinen Job erledigt
Passt wunderbar in die Dose meiner R1200GS. Er hat die Anforderung an ihn erfüllt und mein Handy geladen. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für den Silikonstöpsel, der den USB- Stecker vor Verschmutzung schützen soll. Er hält nicht wirklich, auch wenn man ihn fest in die Öffnung drückt.

Wirkt sehr billig durch wackelige Abdeckung
Die Idee ist schon gut, doch das ganze Teil wirkt eher billig und die Gummiabdeckung ist nicht dicht, und wackelt herum. Macht alles in allem einen eher billigen Discountereindruck, obwohl der USB Anschluss perfekt und saugend passt. Die Abdichtung sollte besser passen. Doch es funktioniert! Auch wenn ich das Gefühl habe, dass es gleich zu rauchen anfängt.

Tut was es tun soll.
Der Adapter ist robust, aber die Abdichtung könnte besser sein. USB-Anschluss ist perfekt, aber der DIn-Stecker hat etwas Spiel. Auf meiner Transalp ist es weitgehend aus dem regen.

Gute Idee, schlecht ausgeführt
Gerät macht das was es soll. USB Stecker sitzt fest in der Buchse. Verarbeitung des Gehäuses könnte besser sein. Die Gummiabdeckung für die USB Buchse sitzt sehr locker und ist maximal als Staubschutz zu gebrauchen.

Idee gut - Praxis schlecht
Gekauft für eine BMW F700. Obwohl der Adapter fest in die Steckdose gesteckt wurde ist der Sitz ziemlich wackelig. Allein durch die Erschütterungen beim Fahren kommt es zu Verbindungsausfällen. Ich vermute, dass der mittige Stiftkontakt des Adapters zu kurz ist. Auch fehlt eine Feder, die den Kontaktstift, je nach Tiefe der Steckdose, fest auf dem Gegenstück hält. Werde das Teil wahrscheinlich zurückgeben.
