Schlechte Passgenauigkeit zu hohem Preis
Die Schützer bestehen aus zwei mit Schrumpfschlauch überzogenen Gewindestangen M8 und den eigentlichen Dämpfern sowie einer neuen Achsschraube vorn. Bei meinem Set waren beide Stangen zu lang (zwischen 1 und 2,5cm), sodass ein Festziehen nicht möglich war. Musste sie also beide Kürzen, was aber mit dem richtigen Werkzeug schnell erledigt ist. Die Bohrung in der Achsschraube war außermittig eingebracht, insgesamt ist die Fertigungsqualität also als schlecht zu bezeichnen. Über die Funktion der Dämpferkappen kann ich nichts sage, sie wirken allerdings sehr massiv und damit wenig dämpfend bei Umfallern. Jetzt noch was Postives: die Verpackung ist gut, ich habe die Stangen fast nicht aus der Folie bekommen. Fazit: ich kann die Dämpfer leider nicht weiterempfehlen, das ist einfachste Technik zu einem hohen Preis. Handwerklich geschickten Personen würde ich zum Selbstbau mit entsprechenden Dämferkappen aus dem Zubehör raten. Vier Dämferkappen sollten 25-30 € kosten, die Gewindestange mit Schrumpfschlauch weniger als 2 € und die Achsschraube liegt bei

sehr einfache Montage, scheinen genau an den richtigen stellen positioniert zu sein
Sehr einfach zu montieren. Passen hinten bei der MT-09 RN43 sogar wenn der originale Kennzeichenträger demontiert ist. Wenn man sich ansieht wie weit die an den Achsen raus stehen scheint das wirklich ein zusätzlicher Schutz zu sein - hoffe ich werde es nie erfallen... Sieht auf jeden Fall gleichzeitig noch relativ dezent aus.
