  • SmartX locking system: The Bluetooth function enables keyless operation that is pleasant and uncomplicated. Your smartphone acts as a key, significantly increasing convenience.
  • 3D Position Detection: Detects vibrations and the smallest movements in all three dimensions immediately and triggers the 100 dB alarm. Thus, your motorcycle is always optimally protected.
  • Location storage: The last position of your motorcycle is automatically saved. This way, you can quickly and easily find your bike again at any time.
  • Technical sophistication: The USB-C port ensures easy charging. Acoustic and optical signals provide information about battery and activity status.
  • Specifications: With a weight of 990 g and a brake disc length of 48 mm, it is compact and robust. The Bluetooth lock type ensures maximum security.

ABUS Granit Detecto SmartX 8078

Decades of ABUS expertise culminate in the development of the 8078 SmartX™ alarm brake disc lock.
The 8078 SmartX™ combines high mechanical security with smart technology. The smartphone becomes the key. A redefinition of mechatronic motorcycle locks. Combined with the proven 100dB loud alarm, it offers maximum security.

Technologies:

  • 13.5 mm locking bolt made of specially hardened steel
  • SmartX locking system with Bluetooth function – High-quality, keyless locking system offers the most user-friendly operation
  • USB-C port
  • ABUS app connectivity
  • Location storage of the last parking position of the motorcycle
  • Alarm function with at least 100 dB for 15 seconds, then automatically re-arms
  • 3D Position Detection – detects vibrations and the smallest movements in all three dimensions and triggers the alarm
  • The bolt, the housing, and supporting parts of the locking mechanism are made of specially hardened steel
  • Thanks to the automatic brake disc detection system, the lock can be transported in the closed state without activating the alarm
