Universal Attachment Saddlebags - Suitable for Almost All Motorcycles:

• The Velcro cross-connections are adjusted to the width of the rear and simply placed over or under the pillion seat (under the seat only if no components are in the way)
• The width adjustment of the cross-connections can also influence the height of the bag relative to the motorcycle
• After positioning the bag as desired, they are then lashed
• With the supplied click-straps, a central lashing is possible - only useful when used with bag holders or if there is a suitable point at the rear
• We recommend the 2-point attachment for which the set of 4 double-D straps is additionally needed (Order No. 70230300045)
• First, route the front straps (to frame tubes, footrest holders, etc.) so that neither your freedom of movement is restricted nor any non-load-bearing parts (e.g., rear fairing) are overly stressed
• Then tighten them just enough so that the bags hold their position and do not move significantly backward
• Now individually find load-bearing attachment points for the rear attachment straps on each motorcycle
• These are usually the license plate holder, grab handles, frame tubes, blinker mounts (if stable enough), etc.
• The attachment straps can be attached independently of each other on the right and left - if not possible, they can also be connected to create a continuous strap from right to left - usually routed between the license plate and its holder or the splash guard
• Optional holders (70320000000) can also be screwed to the license plate mounting towards the rear wheel (please do not place them on the visible side of the license plate as it would otherwise be covered) - this provides two excellent lashing points
• Please ensure that nothing is pinched or placed under too much tension
• Then tighten the two attachment straps just enough so that the bags are not yet completely tight
• Check and, if necessary, correct the desired position of the bags again
• Only then tighten all 4 straps evenly so that the bags sit stably and do not slip even when loaded
• Please secure the strap ends against fluttering
• Due to the achieved stability, the bags can also be used on models for which there are no Semi Riged Saddlebag Holders
• We recommend using paint protection film (Order No. 60470101590 or 60470101790) at the contact points of the bags to the rear
• Please generally increase speed cautiously on the first rides or with new loads

Attachment to the Shad Saddlebag Holders Semi Rigid:

• The bags are slid over the tubes of the saddlebag holders from the back top with the precisely fitting insert pockets
• Then the bags are secured to the front and rear protruding tubes with Velcro straps
• Subsequently, the cross-connections are routed under the seat so that no components are squeezed or functions are hindered
• If this is not possible, the cross-connection is routed over the seat
• The connecting straps should be Velcroed to each other as tightly as possible to give the bags additional stability
• Additionally, the clickable lashing straps should be used accordingly for further securing to the vehicle (see also below)
